i think i failed my chinese oral.
it was so funny kaes. half the time i was talking in english or some stupid chinese language which i did not even understand myself.
hahaha my laoshi went like this in chinese,
first she ask me, do you want to be rich next time? and my ans was like ya.
then next she asked, what if you have 1000000 dollars, what would you do with it? and there was only three option. 1. buy a car 2. buy a house and the last one was to go for a holiday.
so my ans was "buy a car" and she ask why.
and i was totally blank. cause i did not know how to say "drive" in chinese. so i started saying.. "so that i can walk here walk there around singapore with the car. [in chinese]
haha. then the next question was this. do you watch television?
and i was urhm not really. if i watch, i only watch the news. so then she ask me, what kind of shows do you think teenagers like you like to watch. and i seriously did not know how to reply to that question.
actually i wanted to say "teenagers like me likes to watch those channel 8 shows at 9pm"or smth like that. but the thing was that i did not know how to say in chinese.
so i started speaking in half chinese and half english.
i said, they love to watch MTV [in english] and laoshi was "is that all"? and i said, oh urhm they also like to watch those entertainment shows. [and of course again in english]
hahha. i think my laoshi was quite pissed with me till she ask me to stop(:
how cool huh.
wheee... anyway, the exam starts this monday!!
going off to study now:)
